The mission of the Boone County Child Advocacy Center (BCCAC) is to minimize the trauma to any child who is involved in allegations of sexual and/or serious physical abuse or neglect and the subsequent investigation of those allegations.

Boone County abuse prevention and protection at Sylvia's CAC - Sylvia's CAC Because kids need someplace to go after an informed report of child abuse or maltreatment. Sylvia Likens died in October 1965 from what one Sheriff called Indianas most terrible crime. Sylvias Child Advocacy Center is dedicated to her memory and the cause of protecting children from abuse in every corner of our community. Recently around Sylvias CAC and Boone County Indiana Sylvias CAC follows a model proven to support kids in Boone County Abuse is reported to law enforcement or DCS Law enforcement or the Department of Child Services begins an investigation.
