Evansville Childrens Choir Inc
The choir emphasizes both vocal training and music education as directors incorporate age and skill appropriate music and movement activities. Throughout the season, choristers develop vocally, rhythmically and tonally. Music reading, language growth, memory, auditory discrimination, small and large motor skill development through rhythmic movement, stage presence, as well as many other skills will be strengthened and fine-tuned throughout both semesters. Through singing, listening, and musical analysis the children explore great music from many cultures and time periods. This exploration develops their abilities as practicing artists and teaches skills that they will use throughout life.
