Meet our 2025 Giving Project cohort—a vibrant and inclusive group of 19 changemakers who bring a wealth of perspectives from varied racial, economic, and intersectional identities. They have embarked on a transformative journey to raise at least $150,000 to directly support pivotal social justice initiatives throughout Chicago. This cohort has been deeply invested in cultivating dialogues about race and socioeconomic inequities, making a personal donation that is significant to them, broadening our progressive tent through strategic donor organizing, and actively participating in the grant-making process. Their efforts are set to enhance and uplift essential, yet frequently marginalized, social justice projects across our city.
