Crossroads Fund leads in the philanthropic sector by supporting innovative organizing models that build strong movements for racial, social and economic justice. By creating relationships between donors, grantees, grassroots groups and community members, we strengthen leadership, build sustainable communities and transform unjust conditions, institutions and policies to create greater equality and opportunity for all.

Crossroads Fund
Meet our 2025 Giving Project cohort—a vibrant and inclusive group of 19 changemakers who bring a wealth of perspectives from varied racial, economic, and intersectional identities. They have embarked on a transformative journey to raise at least $150,000 to directly support pivotal social justice initiatives throughout Chicago. This cohort has been deeply invested in cultivating dialogues about race and socioeconomic inequities, making a personal donation that is significant to them, broadening our progressive tent through strategic donor organizing, and actively participating in the grant-making process.
