Established in 1984, the Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation (BHOF) (formerly National Osteoporosis Foundation) is the nations leading health organization dedicated to preventing osteoporosis and broken bones, promoting strong bones for life, and reducing human suffering through programs of public and clinician awareness, education, advocacy, and research. BHOFs mission to educate people about bone health throughout the lifespan will ensure that more people will know what to do at every stage of life to build and maintain strong bones to prevent osteoporotic fractures.
