Talk Therapy TV is a public television show that promotes public awareness and information about the warning signs and treatment options for mental illnesses and addictions. Our mission is to promote the treatment of mental illness.By providing education to the public about 1) warning signs and symptoms of mental and behavioral illness 2) treatment options for mental and behavioral illness, Talk Therapy Television endeavors to increase the number of individuals that seek out treatment for their mental illness and behavioral illness. Additionally, with greater knowledge and understanding of mental illness and behavioral illness, the stigma attached to mental and behavioral illness will be reduced. Finally, the public (individuals with mental illness as well as their family members and friends) will become educated and empowered consumers of mental and behavioral health care services.
