Founded in 1988, Southwestern Pennsylvania Partnership for Aging is a volunteer-led non-profit providing a neutral forum for aging and disability issues. THE PRIMARY PURPOSES OF THE ORGANIZATION ARE TO INCLUDE MULTI-DISCIPLINARY, REGIONAL-WIDE NETWORKING AND COLLABORATION IN WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA, CONSUMER AND PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION, DISSEMINATION OF A BROAD RANGE OF INFORMATION REGARDING AGING, APPLIED RESEARCH BASED ON BEST PRACTICE MODELS, POLICY DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION, AND ADVOCACY.
