GCCB The Powell Community Band A Community Band For Music Lovers The Powell Community Band The Powell Community Band The Powell Community Band The Powell Community Band is a vibrant ensemble that unites musicians of all skill levels in the heart of Powell Ohio. Formerly known as The Greater Columbus Concert Band founded in 1987 the group relocated to Powell in January 2021 at the invitation of city leadership. Since then we have enjoyed a warm welcome from the community thanks in large part to our partnership with Faith Life Church which generously hosts our weekly rehearsals. Dedicated to celebrating music and community the band performs a diverse repertoire ranging from traditional and patriotic favorites to contemporary pieces.
