WARRIORS' BEST FRIEND FOUNDATION
Promote a sense of community through service; first with the help of local animal shelters finding dogs with just the right temperament to not only provide comfort to veterans suffering PTSD, but also serve as facility dogs in schools K-12. WBF often partners with selected prisons for initial training, instilling in incarcerated individuals a sense of community as they contribute their time to train dogs, and join the teachers and counselors who welcome the calming effects of dogs willing to accept anyone and everyone, thereby fostering inclusion and most importantly, giving support to children in crisis.
