KANDU creates, promotes, and provides diverse opportunities offering people with disabilities or disadvantages the ability to pursue greater independence and explore their limitless potential. For more than 60 years, KANDU has offered life-changing job training and placement, care services, and living skills instruction to individuals with developmental disabilities and disadvantages. What started in the 1960's as a small but dedicated group of parents — and community supporters — on a mission to meet the employment needs of their adult children with disabilities, has grown into a thriving 501(c)(3) organization. Located in Milton, Wisconsin, just north of the Illinois border, KANDU serves the needs of more than 200 clients while providing valuable services to the community.
