As new treatments and research extend the length and quality of life for millions of patients, many of whom are younger adults, perceptions of how to cope with the challenge of a breast cancer diagnosis and the new life it brings must change. Pink for Pam aims to help patients, families, caregivers, and the community at large to adopt a new view of cancer that is both optimistic and realistic. Most important, Pink for Pam helps those living with cancer to feel as normal, comfortable and confident as possible in their everyday lives as they work toward recovery.To attain our vision, Pink for Pam provides information, community, and funding to cancer patients that empowers them to support and enhance body, mind, and spirit and live life to the fullest. We do this in three ways:Online Support. PinkForPam.org will be a hub where people in similar situations can exchange advice and stories and receive firsthand tips and wisdom from Pink for Pam founder and CEO Pam Cromwell and from Pink for Pam Partners, a group of healthcare and personal service professionals with a range of perspectives and approaches.Educational Support. Pink for Pam will host live, hands-on seminars in which Pink for Pam Partners provide members with lifestyle and wellness tools and services.Financial Support. Pam's Prescription Plan grant program provides cancer patients with funds to obtain complementary wellness services, fitness products and services, and spiritual and self-care products and services.
