Home | Colorado Melanoma Foundation How We Help The Colorado Melanoma Foundation OUR STORY The Colorado Melanoma Foundation was incorporated in July 2013 as an independent 501c3 nonprofit organization in order to educate the public support patient networks encourage early detection and screening and maintain current information on treatment options sun protective behaviors and recent developments in our global understanding on melanoma. We began with the combined efforts of several passionate volunteers in the fields of Melanoma Research Dermatology and Law to name a few. We have gained local recognition as the first and only Colorado local melanomaspecific nonprofit organization. Our community supporters professional and private corporate partners and friendscolleagues in Colorado have grown dramatically.
