The KNF has both a contractual and professional relationship with the Kentucky Nurses Association to enhance achievement of the strategic goals of both organizations. The Kentucky Nurses Association, established in 1906, is the only full-service professional organization for Kentucky's entire nurse population. In addition to promoting the essential role of the registered nurse in health care delivery, the KNA serves as an advocate for quality patient care in all settings.
