To Facilitate and provide partnerships to reduce the human suffering and economic burden from cancer for the citizens of Arkansas The Arkansas Cancer Coalition (ACC) is a network of cancer control Partner Organizations working together to reduce, and ultimately eliminate, the burden of cancer for every person in the state. THE COALITION IS A PARTNERSHIP OF INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS WORKING TOGETHER TO (1) PROVIDE AN OVERVIEW OF THE CURRENT STATUS OF CANCER CONTROL IN ARKANSAS, (2) REDUCE THE OVERALL BURDEN OF CANCER BY PROVIDING AND MAINTAINING A PLAN OF GOALS AND STRATEGIES, AND (3) IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THOSE PERSONALLY AFFECTED BY CANCER BY STRENGTHENING AND SUSTAINING THE CANCEL CONTROL PARTNERSHIP SUPPORT NETWORK.

Arkansas Cancer Coalition
Join us as we welcome six interns to our 2025 ACC Summer Internship Program. This year, ACC staff will equip the interns with hands-on public health experience, focused on health education, community outreach, and program support. The engagement of interns will also enhance project implementation and build a pipeline of future public health leaders dedicated to cancer prevention and control.
