News New Eastview Varsity Football Head Coach Eastview High School Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Athletics Matt Percival has announced the hiring ofWade Buckleyas the new Head Football Coach for the2023season. CoachBuckley willreplaceKelly Sherwin who resigned from his coaching duties after 26 very successful seasons as the original and only head coach of the Lightning Football program. Coach Buckley is entering his eighth year as a teacher of Social Studies and Physical Education with experience teaching in Western Canada and Minnesota. Starting in 2021 he has taught Physical Education and Unified Physical Education at Eastview High School.
