TO OPERATE EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND BENEVOLENT PURPOSES IN PROVIDING SERVICES AND SHELTER FOR ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN; TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY EDUCATION WITH THE GOAL OF PREVENTING CHILD ABUSE IN OUR COMMUNITY.

Christians in Action Christians in Action Emergency Shelter for Children Christians in Action Emergency Shelter for Children a safe haven for the most vulnerable Emergency Shelter for Children Give Give Support Support Location Location Advocate Advocate Protecting children since 1977 The Emergency Shelter provides residential care for children and youth ages birth through seventeen. The capacity of the Shelter is twelve children with forty five days being the maximum length of stay for each child. Since opening the Shelter has cared for more than 5000 children. Referrals come from the Youth Court and the Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services.
