💬 #SONHS Faculty Drs. Ashley Falcon, Yui Matsuda, and Andrew Porter were invited speakers at the University of Miami's first Summer Pedagogical Research Institute, May 12-16. The trio presented and ran a workshop on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, titled "From Pilot to Publication: A Journey in Pedagogical Research - Problem-Based Learning." They have been pursuing a new line of pedagogical research together, a collaboration that so far has led to three accepted publications (two published, one in press) and a fourth in the works. In addition to presenting, Drs. Falcon and Matsuda participated in the inaugural week-long institute, organized by Drs. Nadia Gal and Leslie Knecht.
