The purpose of the New Opportunity School for Women Foundation is to change lives of Appalachian women in need who are determined to improve their lives. TO ASSIST AT-RISK MIDDLE-AGED WOMEN IN EDUCATION AND TRAINING, ALSO TO ASSIST NEW OPPORTUNITY SCHOOL FOR WOMEN, INC. IN ITS BEREA, KENTUCKY, BANNER ELK, NORTH CAROLINA AND BLUEFIELD, VIRGINIA OPERATIONS AND ASSIST IN ESTABLISHING NEW LOCATIONS FOR NEW OPPORTUNITY SCHOOL FOR WOMEN SERVICES.
