Many had never imagined their voices could carry such power. This experience changed that. In Long Beach, students from Millikan, Renaissance, Long Beach Polytechnic, and other local high schools shared bold ideas, delivered powerful presentations, and reminded us all of what is possible when classroom work is rooted in real experiences. Their passion was matched by the energy of the amazing community advisors that joined us, and the dedicated educators and GC staff that supported them and the event.
