Thank you to the Susquehanna County Commissioners for recognizing National Library Week and National Library Outreach Day today! Formerly National Bookmobile Day, this day celebrates library outreach and the dedicated library professionals who are meeting their patrons where they are. We are thankful to our dedicated outreach employees for continuing a tradition in our county that dates back as far as 1924! For National Library Week, we are forgiving overdue fines in exchange for non-perishable food at all of our library locations. All donated food will be given to local organizations to help with their food banks! (fb)
