About the organization

Our mission is for charitable purposes benefiting the rights equality and general well being of the LGBT community in the South Georgia area. It was formed in 2008 as Valdosta Diversity Pride part of the Valdosta State University GayStraight Alliance. Our History It was decided in 2009 that Valdosta Diversity Pride would become an independent organization from the VSU campus. The first Pride festival had good sponsorship but was met with limited success.
