The DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation
We believe that every kid deserves the chance to play. Our mission is to inspire and enable youth participation in sports. Sports build character, increase confidence, motivate kids to stay in school and aim for higher education; teaching life lessons that extend well beyond the playing field. Through grants and other support we help 501c3 organizations, public schools, and community teams across all 50 states provide opportunities for youth to play sports.

This year, the DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation has treated every day like #GivingTuesday. To celebrate the company’s 75th anniversary, we surprised 75 different sports programs with a $75,000 Sports Matter grant. Our criteria was simple: find non-profit organizations from across the country that serve under-resourced communities through the power of sport.
