CDi is a grassroots, volunteer-led non-profit organization fostering sustainable, ecological & harmonious communities, urban & rural, in the US & abroad. We inspire community pride and ownership, facilitate dialogue and collaboration. We use food & trees to make cross-border connections, sustainable agriculture and reforestation as a tool for social justice and inclusion. We partner with community youth leaders to provide "green inspiration", training, capacity building & international exchange. Concerned with human & environmental health, we support US & Haitian micro-entrepreneurs, host workshops and community tree planting events.
