Chartered in 1954 Epsilon Xi Zeta is continuing the legacy of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated by providing service to the Mercer County community. The mission of the organization is to provide services to the city of Trenton (New Jersey) and the surrounding communities and issue scholarships to students in need who reside primarily in urban areas within Mercer County.

Our organization was founded on January 16 1920 at Howard University with the purpose of being a friend to man. Our principles of Scholarship Service Sisterhood and Finer womanhood serve as a beacon to guide the work we do. Since 1954 Epsilon Xi Zeta Chapter has had a proud and longstanding tradition of serving Mercer County New Jersey with plans to continue this tradition by holding steadfast to our principles.
