The Dual Enrollment for Adult Learners (DEAL) project, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education, is hosting an informational webinar for state staff who are interested in learning about an upcoming opportunity to participate in technical assistance to develop state processes to access Ability to Benefit (ATB) Title IV federal student aid funds for eligible learners. This webinar will review ATB basics, including student eligibility, before describing the proposed technical assistance and the application process. Four to six states will ultimately be selected to participate in this opportunity. To participate, states must bring together a team of state staff to conduct the work of designing a state process. As part of that team, states must bring state representatives from adult education, career and technical education, financial aid, as well as from 1-2 public community or technical colleges in the state that are interested in utilizing ATB through a state process. https://bit.ly/44Nuz3S Key dates: May 8th – Recruitment webinar – register now!
