This week we are featuring one of our Hawai’i borrowers @kokokaiyogurt - Koko Kai Yogurt originated from the concept and inspiration to create a premium European-style plant-based functional yogurt tailored for Vegan, Dairy-free, and Flexitarian consumers seeking a refreshing and pure taste, free from the additives and sugars commonly found in most American yogurts. In March 2020, as the world was grappling with shutdowns, Founder Aline Steiner’s thriving private Chef business abruptly paused, and Co-Founder Jonathan Roach’s web development projects slowed down. Leveraging Aline’s expertise as a chef and Certified Holistic Nutritionist, they decided to channel their passion and skills into something meaningful—providing people with GUT HEALTHY, probiotic-rich Coconut Yogurt.
