Société is an independent organization involved in a number of non-profit activities including our highly regarded and well attended monthly luncheons, featuring guest speakers the list of which includes CEOs and other C-Level executives, government leaders and the investor community, scientists and other chemical industry experts. Through the support of our members Société also provides grants, fellowships and scholarships to students pursuing the study of chemistry. In addition, The International Palladium Medal is awarded biannually by Société to honor an individual who has distinguished themselves by reason of outstanding contribution to the chemical industry.

Home - Société de Chimie Industrielle Upcoming Events Investing in our future. Thats exactly what Societe de Chimie Industrielle does by funding undergraduate student research at Columbia University. On Wednesday July 31 Vinicius Avelar Andrew Kelly and Erik Trebilcock presented and discussed their work at the Chemistry Departments Summer Research Symposium organized by Undergraduate Studies Director Vesna Gasperov. Avelar focused on TimeResolving the Coherence of Ryedberg Exciton States in Cuprite Kelly presented his Kinetic Study of Effects of Surface Chemistry Tuning on CdS Nanocrystal Photocatalysts and Trebilcock reviewed his research on Photoredox Catalyzed CH Functionalization via Hydrogen Atom Transfer with Alkynyl Radicals.
