Calling all AFS artists! We’re inviting you to participate in the AFS-USA Coloring Page Design Competition – this year’s theme is: “What does hosting mean to you?” We’re looking for creative black-and-white coloring page designs that reflect the spirit of hosting exchange students. Submissions can be hand-drawn or digitally created and may include words to help convey your message. The winning design will be featured on AFS-USA’s social media channels and shared across communities in the U.S. to help inspire families to host exchange students. The winner will also receive exclusive Sponsored Programs swag! Submissions are due by mid-June, and we’ll announce the winner shortly after! We’re excited to announce the recipient of the AATF & AFS-USA French Summer Language Camp Scholarship, Bella C. from Colorado! This scholarship was created with the purpose of encouraging U.S. high school students to pursue authentic experiences using French and to provide French teachers an opportunity to recognize promising high school students. AFS-USA and the AATF are excited to support Bella as she attends the AFS France Summer Language Camp in France this upcoming summer. “This scholarship means so much to me to receive because it has motivated me to grow in my French skills so that I can make the most of the trip and expand my horizons through travel and learning.
