Founded in 1985, the Arthur Lockhart Resource Institute (ALRI), a not-for-profit 501c(3) human/social service community–based organization, has been committed to enriching, empowering and encouraging the positive growth of the residents of the Austin community of Chicago.ALRI's mission is to improve the economic, educational, psychological, social, health and wellness experiences of the members of the Austin community. ALRI seeks to further this mission by creating partnerships and cooperative efforts with like-minded individuals and organizations who are dedicated to youth, seniors and Veterans. We further believe the key to advancing our communities lies in equipping our children through education and parental support.
