Serving Scouts in SE Ohio The Muskingum Valley Council (MVC) is a local chapter of the Boy Scouts of America. The MVC BSA units are located in east central and southeastern Ohio. The Mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Muskingum Valley Council serves on average over 1000 youth and families per year in Southeast Ohio and Northern West Virginia You and your child have just taken the first step on a journey of adventure family fun character and leadership development and so much more. Scouting is about fun handson learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today and the future. Muskingum Valley Council has a long history of providing lifechanging programs to the young men and women of Southeast Ohio and Northern West Virginia.
