Students from Carlow University’s Best Buddies chapter recently visited with students in our WISCA program to host an ice cream social and spend time playing games together. Programs like Best Buddies share in the goals of Watson and Carlow Education - to promote inclusion and friendship for individuals with intellectual disabilities through meaningful service and leadership. The ice cream social was the perfect reflection of these values brought to life! Our students had a great time with their Buddies, and we look forward to building a more inclusive community with them. (fb)
