Epona's Path has a threefold mission: 1) to actively and directly rescue horses, mares and foals in distess and provide them with rehabilitation, training and a safe forever home; 2) to educate the public on all aspects of responsible horse ownership; and 3) to educate the public and legislators regarding the public safety threats and humane issues associated with horse slaughter with the intent of enacting legislation to ensure the safety of horses and humans.
