The Mission of the Providence Community Development Corporation is to improve the quality of life for our surrounding families and neighborhoods within the City of Rockford, Illinois by working together on projects and issues that will maintain and/or create safe affordable housing for low-to-moderate income individuals, support economic opportunities for businesses and residents in and around the Providence Baptist Church, to enhance the physical image of the area, and instill a sense of neighborhood pride and commitment through affordable housing, neighborhood beautification, education, job placement and job skills training.
