Teen with a Dream was founded in 2003 by Spencer Harrison at age 14 while undergoing chemotherapy for cancer, he realized there is a strong correlation between emotional well-being and cancer survival and patients who have a strong and diverse support network, such as Teen with a Dream, often respond much better to treatment.

Row for Hope, Inc. ("Row for Hope") provides support, advice and encouragement to athletes who desire to undertake large-scale projects including, but not limited to, trans-oceanic rowing expeditions, long distance coastal or inland waterway rows, flat-water regattas, and other athletic endeavors in financial support of cancer-related tax-exempt medical research organizations or other cancer-related causes.
