The First Ulster County Militia As la Milice de Fort Saint Frederic we portray Canadien militia fighting for their homes Louis XV in New France in the Lake Champlain Lac du Sacrament Lake George to the Anglais region of New York during the French Indian War 1754 1763 As the Crew of Pettiauger Mercury we recreate the life of rivermen women on the North Hudson River in our 24 foot reproduction 18th century Pettiauger the first of its kind to ply the waters of the great North River in over 150 years.
