Community Animal Rescue Effort is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization with a mission to serve the communities of Chicago's North Shore by fostering and supporting healthy, positive relationships between people and companion animals.

Underhound Railroad

To rescue dogs from unhealthy environments from certain euthanization and, utilizing volunteers and a series of fostser homes, help to find them loving forever homes.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund

To rescue, shelter, and care for homeless animals and place them in permanent, responsible homes; to promote and support spay/neuter for all companion animals.
