THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO ENGAGE IN THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:1) TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC AND TO LESSEN THE GOVERNMENT BURDEN THROUGH THE LONG TERM RESTORATION AND PRESERVATION OF THE HALLS CREEK ESTUARY, LOCATED IN BARNSTABLE COUNTY, MASSACHUSETTS; AND2) TO CARRY OUT ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE WHICH IS PERMITTED TO BE CARRIED OUT BY A CORPORATION ORGANIZED UNDER CHAPTER 180 OF THE GENERAL LAWS OF MASSACHUSETTS, PROVIDED THAT THE CORPORATION SHALL NOT PURSUE ANY PURPOSE THAT IS NOT PERMITTED TO BE CARRIED OUT BY AN ORGANIZATION THAT IS EXEMPT FROM FEDERAL INCOME TAXATION UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE U.
