TO OPERATE A YOUTH SOCCER PROGRAM WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF GARDEN CITY ON A NON-PROFIT BASIS WHICH INCLUDES ORGANIZED LEAGUES FOR BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS FOR INTER-VILLAGE COMPETITION; TO ORGANIZE AND PARTICIPATE IN LEAGUE AND TOURNAMENT COMPETITION WITH OTHER SIMILARLY ORGANIZED TEAMS ON LONG ISLAND AND ELSEWHERE; TO PROVIDE PARTICIPANTS AND COACHES WITH TRAINING AND INSTRUCTION IN SOCCER SKILLS;TO OBTAIN AND COORDINATE FIELD SPACE FOR PARTICIPATING TEAMS; TO OBTAIN UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT FOR PARTICIPANTS; AND TO GENERALLY ENCOURAGE THE DEVELOPMENT AND ENJOYMENT OF AMATEUR SOCCER WITHIN THE VILLAGE.
